Enjoy Styling

Enjoy Styling Plakat

Everyone talks about Enjoy Styling. How about you? Enjoy Styling is the event for your next birthday party.

A beautician of mine had the idea of offering a make-up workshop for teenagers as part of their birthday party. Young boys and girls get the opportunity to learn all they want to know about make-up and styling. Type specific advise and, as peak, be part of a real shooting. At home or in a studio.

Concept, artwork, business card and website by me. Curious? Check it out. www.enjoy-styling.de

Ohrkanus – From heart to ear

Ohrkanus2012

Ohrkanus is the most popular independant audiobook and audiodrama award in Germany. Since 2006 the Ohrkanus worships work performed within the industry. The advantage of this award is the acclamation process. The jury represented by three equal posts, Ohrkanus members, critics, producers and fans deliver representative results.

I got the opportunity to redesign the logo, business card, press kit and website. Check it out. www.ohrkanus.de

Reflex Verlag

Since October 2010 I have been working with the Reflex Publishing House. The goal is to create special-interest supplements in the daily press.

I have been responsible for the layout and the print production process, matching the exigencies of newspaper print.

The images show an extract of covers and double side spreads, which were enclosed in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, the Handelsblatt or the Financial Times Deutschland within the last two months.

bemitho

Business cards

bemitho technologies GmbH is a newly founded company from Hamburg, who asked me to support them with their Corporate Design.

The challenge of the signet was to create a simple, but significant, grapihcal element. The QR-Code printed on the business card is to easily scan the required information and add it to your phone, without typing it in.

The appearance of all necessary graphical elements, like the website www.bemitho.com, letterhead and templates for print and non-print applications were kept hold of in a Corporate Design Manual.

ADDICTIVE

toAddict

Apply differently. A couple of months ago a magazine was looking for a new leading art direction. Expected was a portfolio with significant samples, a CV and a reference list.

Originally intended as a brochure, it turned out to become a 28-pages magazine. Copy and pictures by my own mind and hand. Printed on uncoated paper the high gloss images of my portfolio gained a new, very special charm.

What emerged in the end? »toAddict« a magazine about design culture. Simply addictive.

Marc Heuse

Signet

At the end of last year Marc Heuse, a it security crack and a professionel consultant, wanted a new Corporate Design. The new signet contains his initials »m« and »h«.

It was important to combine the contrasts his work and personality is driven by. The image above shows the process of minimizing until a unique symbol was created, which contains his initials as well as emblematize the business he is working in. Setting a difference to most of the IT companies.

The contrasts were visualized by using an uncoated paper combined with a partial UV lacquer.

Paper used: Gmund Act Green, FSC Cream, 300 g/qm
